Steam turbine-driven multi-stage centrifugal compressor
A new control system was supplied for a power plant for three turbo compressors that provide the fuel gas for the gas turbine. The container solution included complete I&C and safety technology, as well as low-voltage switchgear, UPS and air conditioning.
Automation of reciprocating compressors
Supply of control technology for five large piston compressors to enable hydrogen transformation in a steel mill. Each machine has its own control system, featuring modern, redundant, and safety-oriented PLC systems from Siemens.


Automation of parallel pumps
Delivery of a central control system with a redundant PLC for three pumps. Two pumps are driven by a steam turbine and one pump by an electric motor. In addition to the turbine control, a load sharing scheme for the pumps has been implemented.

Surging is without doubt one of the most dangerous operating conditions for turbo compressors. It leads to high loads, increased wear and, in the worst case, expensive failures.
